I look at my life and I think about how lucky I am. I live in the city I have always wanted, I am doing what makes me most happy in this world, dance; and I also have such amazing friends and family that support me so much, it’s literally impossible for me to fail at anything I set my heart to. Yesterday my Arizona family lost a member. I realized that not being there really hurt, but nothing hurts more than the loss of someone you love. No matter how good or bad a person may be, I never wish someone to feel a fraction of the pain I felt a few months ago. Its in time of mourning that you realize personal issues or past conflicts with people go away. If they don’t? Take a good look at yourself and ask yourself if you are happy with who you’ve become. Realize that there are moments to be selfish, but not now. Evaluate your life, and hold on to those positive memories, or events to come. It’s all you have. At the end of the day, you chose how to behave and carry on. Make it worth your time.
